Note: RBv3X currently configures mice through the 2.4 GHz USB receiver or a USB cable where supported. Bluetooth configuration is not implemented in this version.

Testing: Hardware-tested on the Basilisk V3 X HyperSpeed. Basilisk V3 and V3 Pro support follows the OpenRazer protocol but has not been tested on real hardware yet. Community testing is welcome.

Direct USB HID

Talks to the mouse with the same 90-byte report protocol documented by the OpenRazer project: DPI, lighting, buttons and battery, no vendor software in between.

Sandboxed & quiet

Fully App-Sandboxed with a single USB entitlement. No kernel extensions, no helpers, no background services, no network access, and zero telemetry.

Settings that persist

Saved preferences are shown when the mouse reconnects. The app does not write them to the mouse automatically on connection.

Download RBv3X 2.0.6 for macOS 13 or later, Apple Silicon and Intel.

Release status

Signed with Developer ID and notarized by Apple, so it opens without Gatekeeper warnings. Checked on Basilisk V3 X HyperSpeed; hardware checks on Basilisk V3 and V3 Pro are still in progress.

Plug in the dongle

Connect your Basilisk V3 series mouse via the 2.4GHz USB dongle or cable. Detection is automatic.

Click the menu bar icon

The mouse icon appears in your menu bar. Open it and set DPI, lighting and buttons. Settings save automatically.
